Tonight's Midnight Soulstice is a tribute to a man who needs little introduction. The late Donny Hathaway is one of the most soulful cats who's ever walked this Earth, a man who has re-defined Soul music with his powerful voice and song writing skills. Be it the timeless bottom groove of his most famous hit "The Ghetto" or the beautifully arranged "Someday we'll all be free," anything that Donny Hathway has touched has become a classic. On our tribute to the man, we'll not only play our favorite choices of his already known releases, but also some previously unreleased music that has not seen the light of day until this month, making this show a must for every fan of Soul music.
