The 70s Sound of James Brown

Returning from a two weeks tour in Australia with James Brown's Soulsister # 1 Marva Whitney, Midnight Soulstice co-host DJ Pari will bring you his radio first show of 2010. He'll pick up where he left off in December - introducing the sound of James Brown. Diggin' through James Brown's rarest material from the 1960s on the last show, we'll focus on the sound of the following decade tonight. And just like the last time, expect some rather unusual James Brown releases as well as a long set of rare music by JB's associated artists. Tune in from 11 pm until 1 am Eastern. If you miss the show, come back for the download, which will be posted here this weekend. Click "Read more" for the playlist of tonight's show.
